As the holiday season approaches, many of us are considering adding a pet to our families. While pets bring immense joy and companionship, gifting a pet comes with important responsibilities. Here are some key tips to consider before making this heartfelt decision:
Long-term Commitment: Dogs and cats can live 10–20 years—a lasting responsibility beyond the holiday season.
Daily Care: Both dogs and cats need regular feeding, grooming, and playtime. Make sure they have the time, love, and consistent care.
Ongoing Expenses: Remember that pets come with ongoing costs for food, vet visits, and supplies.
Lifestyle Compatibility: Dogs often need regular exercise and outdoor time, while cats thrive in calm, indoor environments.
Choose to Rescue: Shelters are full of dogs and cats waiting for a second chance at a loving, forever home. Adopting a pet not only saves a life but also enriches yours!
Before making the decision to gift a pet this Christmas, take a moment to reflect on these factors. A pet is not just a present; they are a long-term family member deserving of love and care.

In a quiet apartment complex, a lady reached out to us seeking help for a few stray cats causing concern amongst the tenants. She had previously gotten the cats spayed hoping this would ease the tenants concerns, however this wasn't enough and they still wanted the cats removed.
Fortunately, a kind-hearted man stepped forward after our intervention, offering a loving home for these cats. We were able to trap the cats and successfully relocated them and we can confirm that they are adjusting well to their new home.
